    Site Supervisor/Project coordinator - Limassol

    For our client, a leading interior solutions specialist with an established presence in Cyprus, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor / Project Coordinator to join our technical team in Limassol.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of construction projects, ensuring that works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.

     

    Responsibilities:

    Site & Project Supervision

    • Supervise, coordinate and organise construction projects and site activities.

    • Coordinate company crews, subcontractors, suppliers and external project partners.

    • Monitor the day-to-day progress of works and ensure projects are delivered according to agreed specifications, schedules and quality standards.

    • Maintain accurate project and site diaries.

    • Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction.

    • Prepare and review construction drawings and technical documentation.

    • Attend technical and project meetings.

    • Prepare project reports and provide regular updates to senior management.

    • Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders to resolve technical and operational matters.

    Project Planning & Cost Control

    • Monitor project budgets, costs and timelines.

    • Assist with project costing and financial control.

    • Prepare quotations, interim and final payment documentation.

    • Carry out measurements and costing of completed works and variations.

    • Monitor additional works and changes to the original scope.

    • Identify potential delays, cost overruns or technical issues and report them promptly to management.

    • Maintain accurate project documentation and correspondence.

    Materials & Procurement

    • Prepare and coordinate material orders according to project requirements.

    • Monitor material deliveries and availability on site.

    • Control and monitor the use of materials at construction sites.

    • Ensure that unused or excess materials are returned according to company procedures.

    • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding materials and technical requirements.

    • Maintain knowledge of modern construction materials and systems, particularly dry construction, interior finishes and external thermal insulation.

    • Maintain general knowledge of passive fire protection systems and their applications.

    Team Coordination & Supervision

    • Coordinate and supervise site foremen, technical personnel and construction crews.

    • Provide guidance and support to site teams to ensure work is completed according to specifications and company standards.

    • Support the training and development of technical and site personnel.

    • Ensure effective communication between the site teams, management, contractors and suppliers.

    Client & Contractor Communication

    • Maintain professional communication with clients, main contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

    • Handle project-related correspondence, including letters and emails.

    • Provide technical information and assistance when required.

    • Ensure management is promptly informed of contractual, technical, commercial or operational issues.

    • Attend and actively participate in technical meetings.

    Health, Safety & Quality

    • Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

    • Monitor compliance with Health & Safety requirements by site personnel and subcontractors.

    • Report any situation that may compromise the health and safety of employees or other persons.

    • Ensure the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

    • Follow all Quality Management and Occupational Health & Safety procedures.

    • Identify and report non-conformities and potential risks.

    • Apply appropriate risk-control measures in accordance with company risk assessments.

    • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

    • Carry out any other duties reasonably associated with the position and normal professional practice.

     

    Requirements:

    Essential Qualifications & Experience

    • Recognised degree or qualification in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or another relevant discipline.

    • Proven experience in project management or project coordination.

    • Previous experience in building construction and site supervision.

    • Experience in the promotion, specification or application of interior finishing materials.

    • Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and general computer applications.

    • Excellent command of Greek and very good command of English, both written and spoken.

    • Valid driving licence.

    • Training or knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety.

    • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and site operations.

    Desirable Qualifications & Experience

    • Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.

    • Previous experience in a company specialising in:

      • Dry construction systems

      • Interior finishing materials

      • External thermal insulation systems

      • Architectural materials and solutions

    • Experience with project costing, measurements and payment documentation.

    • Knowledge of passive fire protection systems.

    • ETEK registration, where applicable.

    • Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors.

    • Strong knowledge of construction materials and technical specifications.

    Salary:

    • €32,000–€42,000 gross per annum, depending on experience, qualifications and technical knowledge.
