    Site Supervisor - Limassol

    For our client, a leading interior solutions specialist with an established presence in Cyprus, we are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Site Supervisor / Project Coordinator to join our technical team in Limassol.

    The role combines project coordination, construction site supervision, technical materials development and product promotion, with a particular focus on interior finishes, dry construction systems and external thermal insulation solutions.

    The successful candidate will work closely with architects, clients, contractors, suppliers and internal technical teams, helping to identify new materials and solutions while supporting the successful delivery of construction projects from planning through to completion.

     

    Responsibilities:

    Project & Site Coordination

    • Supervise, coordinate and organise construction projects and day-to-day site activities.

    • Coordinate company crews, subcontractors, suppliers and external project partners.

    • Maintain project records and site diaries as required.

    • Monitor project progress, budgets and schedules and report any significant deviations to management.

    • Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues.

    • Prepare and review construction drawings and technical details.

    • Conduct site measurements and assess completed works and variations.

    • Prepare project reports and other documentation requested by management.

    • Attend technical and project meetings with clients, contractors and other stakeholders.

    • Provide technical information and support throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Train and supervise site foremen and technical personnel where required.

    Materials & Product Development

    • Maintain continuous knowledge and understanding of new construction and interior finishing materials.

    • Communicate with existing and potential suppliers to identify new products, materials and technical solutions.

    • Research new trends, products and technologies relevant to interior finishes and dry construction.

    • Promote and present the company's imported materials and products to architects, designers, contractors and other relevant professionals.

    • Develop and maintain professional relationships with architects and other industry stakeholders.

    • Support the specification and selection of suitable materials for construction and interior projects.

    • Keep the company's website updated with information regarding new projects, materials, products and suppliers.

    • Stay informed about modern dry construction systems, architectural finishes and passive fire protection solutions.

    Commercial & Cost Control

    • Assist with project costing and cost-control activities.

    • Prepare quotations and support the preparation of interim and final payment documentation.

    • Carry out measurements and costing of completed works, variations and additional works.

    • Monitor material costs and usage across projects.

    • Prepare material orders and coordinate deliveries with suppliers and project teams.

    • Monitor the use of materials on site and ensure returns or replacements are handled in accordance with company procedures.

    • Monitor project budgets and identify potential cost deviations at an early stage.

    • Maintain accurate commercial and project documentation.

    Client & Stakeholder Management

    • Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders.

    • Provide technical information and support in relation to materials, applications and construction solutions.

    • Respond to project-related queries and assist in resolving technical or operational issues.

    • Manage project correspondence, including letters and emails.

    • Ensure management is promptly informed of important contractual, technical or commercial matters.

    • Represent the company professionally at technical meetings and project discussions.

    Health, Safety & Quality

    • Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies and procedures.

    • Monitor compliance with Health & Safety requirements by site personnel and contractors.

    • Report any situation that may compromise the health and safety of employees, contractors or other persons.

    • Ensure appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used on site.

    • Follow company Quality Management and Occupational Health & Safety procedures.

    • Identify and report non-conformities and issues affecting project quality or safety.

    • Apply appropriate risk-control measures in accordance with relevant risk assessments.

    • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

    • Carry out any other duties reasonably associated with the position and normal professional practice.

     

    Requirements:

    Essential Qualifications & Experience

    • Recognised Degree in Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or another relevant discipline.

    • Proven experience in project coordination or project management.

    • Experience in the promotion, specification or sales of interior finishing materials.

    • Previous experience in building construction or related technical environments.

    • Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and general computer applications.

    • Excellent command of Greek and very good command of English, both written and spoken.

    • Valid driving licence.

    • Training or knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety.

    • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and project coordination.

    Desirable Qualifications & Experience

    • Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction or a related discipline.

    • Previous experience in a company specialising in:

      • Dry construction / drywall systems

      • Interior finishing materials

      • External thermal insulation systems

      • Architectural materials and solutions

    • Existing professional network among architects, interior designers, contractors or developers.

    • Knowledge of passive fire protection systems and technical applications.

    • Experience with material specification and product presentations.

    • Experience in construction drawings, measurements, costing and project documentation.

    Salary:

    • €31,200–€36,500 gross per annum, depending on experience, qualifications and technical knowledge.
