For our client, a leading interior solutions specialist with an established presence in Cyprus, we are looking for a Site Engineer / Project Coordinator to support the supervision, organisation and coordination of construction projects. Experience in drywall construction and external thermal insulation systems would be considered a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and organise construction projects and day-to-day site activities.

Coordinate, manage and organise construction sites, company crews and external contractors.

Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
-
Coordinate with engineers, foremen, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.

Prepare and manage material orders according to project requirements.
-
Monitor and control the use of materials on site and ensure that material returns are completed in accordance with company procedures.

Monitor project budgets, costs and schedules and report any significant deviations to management.

Assist with project costing and cost control.

Prepare payment documentation and quotations as required.

Ensure that construction activities are carried out in accordance with project requirements and company procedures.

Monitor compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies by site personnel and contractors.

Report any situation that may compromise the health and safety of employees, contractors or other persons.

Ensure that the site remains clean, organised and safe for employees and contractors.

Identify and report non-conformities and any issues that may affect project quality, safety or progress.

Follow all company procedures relating to Quality Management and Occupational Health & Safety.

Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company and ensure that required safety measures are followed.

Apply appropriate risk-control measures in accordance with relevant risk assessments.

Maintain awareness of potential workplace hazards and take appropriate precautions to minimise the risk of accidents.

Work collaboratively with management, engineers, site supervisors, contractors and clients as required.

Carry out any other duties reasonably associated with the position and the normal practice of the profession.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications & Experience
-
Recognised Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.

Previous experience with building construction projects.

Very good knowledge of AutoCAD and general computer applications.

Very good command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.

Valid driving licence.

Training or knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety.
Desirable Qualifications

Postgraduate qualification in Engineering with a specialisation in Drywall Construction or a related field.

Postgraduate qualification in Project Management.
-
Registration with ETEK.

Previous experience in a similar position.

Experience within a company specialising in drywall construction and external thermal insulation systems.

Knowledge of construction site coordination and project management would be considered an advantage.

Salary:

€25,000 – €35,000 gross per annum, depending on qualifications, experience and technical expertise.
