For a well established Business Consultancy firm, we are looking to recruit a talented, high-calibre individual to join their team as a Senior Tax Associate. The Senior Tax Associate delivers comprehensive tax services to local and international clients across various industries, acting as a trusted advisor and key contributor to the firm’s tax practice.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and submission of corporate and individual tax returns, as well as other tax forms (relating to rents/interest/dividends)
- Handling applications for:
- Tax Clearance & Compliance Certificates
- Tax Identification Numbers
- Non-Domicile & Tax Residency Certificates
- Double Tax Treaty benefits
- Registration with tax platforms
- Tax review of financial statements
- Handling tax examinations
- Preparation of tax rulings and temporary tax returns
- Completion of Summary Information Tables
- Monitoring changes in Cyprus tax legislation
- Reporting to the Director on assigned work
- Analysing client financial data and advising on appropriate tax treatment
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields and/or ACA, ACCA or any other professional qualification;
- Solid knowledge of Cyprus tax legislation
- 3–5 years of relevant experience will be considered an advantage
- Willingness to learn, develop, and take responsibility
- Fluency in Greek and English (written & spoken)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
