Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Manager / Head of Tax to join an established professional services organisation in Cyprus.
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of key local and international clients and act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice on complex Cyprus and international tax matters, including restructurings, transactions, investments, cross-border activity and tax planning.
- Lead significant tax advisory engagements and complex client assignments.
- Develop existing client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Drive business development through prospecting, proposals, pitches and conversion of new opportunities.
- Manage portfolio performance, including pricing, billing and profitability.
- Lead and develop Managers and senior tax professionals through coaching, performance management and succession planning.
- Contribute to the strategy, growth and resource planning of the Tax function.
- Collaborate with Audit, Deals, Accounting and other service lines on multidisciplinary and cross-border engagements.
- Provide technical leadership and maintain strong quality, risk-management and professional standards.
- Lead significant tax disputes, enquiries and negotiations with the Cyprus Tax Department.
- Monitor developments in Cyprus, EU and international taxation.
- Represent the Tax function through professional, industry and client-facing activities.
Requirements
- Significant senior-level tax experience, ideally within a Big Four or established professional-services environment.
- ACA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent professional qualification.
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus taxation, particularly corporate and/or international tax.
- Proven experience managing senior client relationships and developing new business.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing professional teams.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of professional services.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Confidence engaging with executives, shareholders and senior decision-makers.
- Excellent English; Greek is advantageous.

Salary
€55,000 - 65,000 annual gross, depending on experience.
