For our client, a well established Audit & Accounting firm in Larnaca, we are looking to find a Senior Auditor.
Responsibilities:
- Perform statutory audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate audit findings to management and clients
- Assess clients’ accounting systems and internal controls and recommend improvements
- Prepare Financial Statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Examine accounting records to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Stay up to date with professional standards, industry developments, and legislative changes relevant to auditing
- Pursue continuous professional development and ongoing education
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA)
- Fluency in English and Greek (additional languages will be considered an advantage)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Good knowledge of CaseWare Working Papers
- Knowledge of CaseWare International will be considered an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Minimum 4+ years of relevant auditing experience
- Strong mathematical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
