For our client, we are currently looking to recruit a professional to join their Audit Department at the level of Supervisor / Assistant Manager / Manager, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, supervising and performing statutory audits in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Review of audit files, working papers and financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Managing audit engagements from planning through to completion.
- Supervising, coaching and reviewing the work of junior audit staff.
- Liaising with clients to obtain audit information and resolve accounting/audit matters.
- Identifying accounting, audit and compliance issues and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Ensuring that audit assignments are completed within agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Assisting in maintaining high audit quality standards and compliance with internal procedures.
- Supporting partners/directors in the overall management of client portfolios.
Requirements:
- ACA / ACCA qualified.
- Minimum 5-7 years of audit experience depending on the level of the position. Relevant experience will be considered as an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA.
- Experience in supervising audit teams and managing client engagements.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
