For a leading Cypriot Audit & Accounting firm, we are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Accountant to manage financial records, support bookkeeping, and collaborate with the Accounting Manager. Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting and bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with standards
- Reconcile sales, receivables, purchases, payables, VAT, Social Insurance, and bank accounts
- Prepare VAT returns, VIES forms, and related reconciliations
- Process monthly payroll for clients
- Assist in preparing management accounts, financial statements, and client reports
- Compile budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections
- Monitor financial performance and ensure budget adherence
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, laws, and professional standards
- Register companies for VAT, Tax, and Social Insurance
- Prepare and submit all related registration forms
- Build strong client relationships through proactive communication
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience
- ACCA qualified or actively working towards completion
- Experience in VAT regulations, Social Insurance services, and Tax authorities
- Exposure in accounting software (e.g.E-soft, Odoo)
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Effective teamwork and independent working capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
- IT literate and adaptable
- High integrity and a positive, can-do attitude.

Salary:
€21,600 – 25,800 annual gross, depending on experience
