For an Audit Firm, we are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated Senior Accountant, to become a member of the Accounting Team. On offer is an excellent opportunity to grow in a key role in a medium sized, growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the accounting records of client companies and perform reconciliations of control accounts, including all bank, debtor and creditor accounts
- Preparation of management accounts
- Handling VAT/VIES compliance for client companies
- Advise clients on Tax, VAT and IFRS matters
- Identifies and resolves VAT/Tax risk issues, promptly during the accounting process
- Mitigates risk through review and involvement of senior people within the firm
- Interacting with clients
- Handling tax compliance matters for client companies (such as preparation of annual tax returns, provisional tax computations, etc.)
- Payroll preparation
Requirements:
- 5 - 7 years’ experience in accounting position
- Holder of LCCI Higher or CAT or University Degree in Accounting related field
- Ability to work effectively within a team, under pressure and with strict deadlines
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Excellent computer skills, including Excel, and MS Office applications
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Salary:
Gross salary based on skills & experience, to include 13th salary
