For our client, an Investment Firm and Corporate Service Provider, we are looking to find a Middle Officer Officer. This position offers for fully remote work and they are based in Nicosia.
Responsibilities:
- Daily NAV reconciliation between portfolio management system and fund administrator, including positions, cash, pricing and valuation checks
- Monitoring security pricing and valuation, including stale prices and non-standard pricing
- Trade lifecycle support, including trade confirmation with counterparties, instructing in settlement systems and monitoring unmatched or failed trades
- Corporate actions monitoring and processing, coordinating actions with the investment team and service providers, and ensuring accurate posting of corporate actions in the relevant systems
- Monitoring of fund expenses and invoices, coordinating payments and expense allocations
- Preparation of periodic operational, compliance and risk reports
- Supporting KYC and due diligence requests from counterparties
- Ad-hoc operational tasks including system support.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years’ experience in the middle office or back office in the financial institution or investment firm
- Understanding of Financial instruments, such as Fixed income, Equities, FX products, due diligence and risk management requirements
- English - upper intermediate
- Permanent residence in Cyprus
- High standards for accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain consistent daily routine
- Multitasking
- Ability to work with big volume of data
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small operations team
