For our client, a leading interior solutions specialist with an established presence in Cyprus, we are looking for a qualified and motivated Engineer, responsible for the technical coordination, supervision and management of projects involving passive fire protection and external thermal insulation (ETICS/thermal façade systems).

Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of passive fire protection and thermal insulation systems.

Meet with clients to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.

Assess existing and new buildings and propose suitable passive fire protection solutions.

Provide architects, consultants and designers with technical information regarding passive fire protection and thermal insulation materials and systems.

Prepare quotations, interim and final payment applications and relevant project documentation.
-
Supervise, coordinate and organise construction projects and site activities.
-
Maintain accurate project records and site diaries.
-
Identify and resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
-
Prepare construction drawings and technical details when required.

Monitor and control the use of materials on site and ensure that material returns are managed according to company procedures.

Monitor project budgets, costs and timelines.
-
Prepare project reports as required by the Project Manager/Senior Engineer.

Carry out project costing and prepare estimates.

Measure and cost completed works, variations and additional works.

Train, supervise and coordinate foremen and technical/site personnel.

Manage project correspondence, prepare letters and emails, and ensure management is promptly informed of contractual matters.

Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders to provide information and resolve technical or operational issues.

Attend technical and project meetings.

Ensure compliance with company Health & Safety policies, procedures and regulations.

Monitor compliance with Health & Safety requirements among site personnel.

Identify and report any situation that may affect the health and safety of employees, contractors or other persons.

Ensure appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and implementation of risk-control measures.

Report and document non-conformities and any issues identified during project execution.

Ensure compliance with the company's Quality Management System and Health & Safety Management System.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety on site.

Carry out any other duties reasonably related to the position and the normal practice of the profession.
