For our client, a leading interior solutions specialist with an established presence in Cyprus, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate / Trainee Interior Architect / Interior Designer to join our technical team and develop a career within the construction and dry construction industry.
The position forms part of the company's Graduate Development Scheme and offers structured training, mentoring and hands-on experience in construction site supervision, project coordination, material management, costing and modern dry construction systems.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will receive structured training and support the Senior Engineer / Site Supervisor in:

Assisting with the supervision and organisation of construction sites and interior projects.

Supporting the coordination of company crews, subcontractors and suppliers.
-
Assisting with the preparation of quotations, measurements, project certifications and payment documentation.
-
Monitoring project progress, schedules and budgets.
-
Supporting project costing and financial control.
-
Assisting with the identification and resolution of technical issues arising during project execution.
-
Assisting with the planning, ordering, monitoring and management of construction materials.
-
Monitoring the correct use of materials on site and ensuring returns or replacements are handled according to company procedures.

Developing knowledge of technical specifications, material applications and the selection of modern construction materials.

Developing practical knowledge of dry construction systems, architectural finishes and related construction techniques.

Supporting the Technical Department in the coordination of site activities.

Participating in the implementation of the company's Quality, Health & Safety procedures.

Maintaining accurate project and site records as required.

Reporting technical, quality or safety issues to the relevant supervisor.

Carrying out other duties relevant to the role and professional development.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications
-
University Degree or recognised qualification in Architecture, Interior Architecture, Interior Design, Interior Decoration or a related field.

Very good knowledge of AutoCAD.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other digital tools.

Excellent command of either Greek or English, with very good knowledge of the second language, both written and spoken.

Valid driving licence.

Willingness to work both on construction sites and in an office environment.

Strong interest in construction, technical materials and interior construction.
-
Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, site crews, suppliers and clients.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Dry Construction, Interior Architecture or a related field.

Registration with ETEK, where applicable.

Training or certification in Occupational Health & Safety.

Basic knowledge of construction materials, architectural details, building installations and dry construction systems.

Interest in modern construction materials, technical specifications and their application in dry construction and architectural finishing projects.

Previous internship or practical experience in a technical office, construction site, interior design practice or company specialising in dry construction, architectural finishes or external thermal insulation systems.

Previous exposure to construction site operations will be considered an advantage.
