For our client, a leading interior solutions specialist with an established presence in Cyprus, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate / Junior Site Civil Engineer to join our technical team and develop their career within the construction industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Civil Engineering graduate who is looking to gain practical experience in construction site supervision, project coordination, material management and dry construction systems, while receiving structured training and mentoring from experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will receive training and support the Senior Engineer / Site Supervisor in:

Assisting with the supervision and organisation of construction projects and site activities.

Supporting the coordination and organisation of construction sites, company crews and external contractors.
-
Assisting with the identification and resolution of technical and construction-related issues.
-
Assisting with the preparation of payments, quotations and project documentation.
-
Preparing and following up on material orders.
-
Monitoring the use of materials on site and ensuring that returns are completed in accordance with company procedures.

Assisting with the monitoring of project budgets, costs and schedules.
-
Supporting project costing and cost-control activities.
-
Assisting with the coordination of site activities and ensuring that works progress according to project requirements.

Supporting the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety procedures on construction sites.
-
Reporting any potential health and safety risks or incidents to the relevant supervisor.

Identifying and reporting non-conformities and any issues affecting project quality or progress.

Maintaining accurate project and site records as required.

Following all company procedures relating to Quality Management and Occupational Health & Safety.

Using all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by the company.

Applying appropriate risk-control measures in accordance with relevant risk assessments.

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.

Carrying out any other duties reasonably associated with the position and the normal practice of the profession.
Requirements:
Essential Qualifications
-
University Degree or recognised qualification in Civil Engineering.

Very good knowledge of AutoCAD.
-
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and other digital tools.

Excellent command of either Greek or English, with very good knowledge of the second language, both written and spoken.

Valid driving licence.

Genuine interest in construction, site work and professional development.

Willingness to work both on construction sites and in an office environment.

Strong willingness to learn and develop professionally.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Dry Construction or a related field.

Registration with ETEK, either as a professional member or trainee.

Training or knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety.

Basic knowledge of construction materials, building systems or dry construction systems.

Previous internship or practical experience in a construction site, engineering consultancy or company specialising in drywall/dry construction or external thermal insulation systems.

Any previous exposure to construction site operations will be considered an advantage.

Salary:

€18,200 – €23,400 gross per annum, depending on qualifications, experience and technical expertise
