    CFO - Limassol

    For a prominent group of Companies in the real estate development, construction, hospitality, and property management sectors, operates in Cyprus and various European jurisdictions, we are seeking to recruit a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who will be
    responsible for the overall strategic planning, implementation, management, and oversight of all financial activities within the Company. This includes business planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, governance, and negotiations.

    The CFO will collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and execute the group & business and financial strategy while ensuring the highest standards of financial operations.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Leading, directing, and managing the finance and accounting team.
    • Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO/Managing Director and executive management team.
    • Overseeing financial forecasting, budgeting processes, and all financial reporting.
    • Advising on long-term business and financial planning.
    • Offering commercial insights and leadership to surpass business plan targets.
    • Ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is effectively implemented and operational across the Group.
    • Establishing and nurturing relationships with senior management and external partners/stakeholders.
    • Reviewing all formal finance, HR, and IT-related procedures.
    • Overseeing accounting practices to maintain the financial health of all companies.
    • Developing financial procedures for all group activities and companies.
    • Managing the execution level of the financial team.
    • Monitoring all payments and expenses both in Cyprus and abroad.
    • Improving and implementing working tools, including ERP and CRM systems.
    • Preparing management reports.
    • Overseeing all legal matters.
    • Managing group financing and fostering relationships with banks and financial institutions.
    • Overseeing liquid funds, including deposits, fixed income, and shares.
    • Ensuring compliance and monitoring inflows.
    • Monitoring budgets for the group and all companies.
    • Liaising with tax authorities.
    • Overseeing manpower and HR activities.
    • Maintaining relationships with business associates and partners.
    • Advising on new ventures and investments.
    • Managing risk and shaping business strategy.

     

    Requirements:

    • A Bachelors degree in one of the following fields is expected:
      • Accounting/ Economics
      • CPA
      • Extensive legal knowledge.
      • MBA in a top university will be considered as an advantage.
    • 12+ years experience in financial leadership role in businesses; oriented companies (real-estate development & construction).
    • 4 years minimum experience in the position of CFO
    • Senior Leadership experience.
    • Business oriented.
    • English fluent capabilities.

     

    Salary:

    Negotiable, depending on experience
