For our client, a top 10 Global Audit Firm, we are currently recruiting for an Associate to join their Internal Audit, Governance and Risk Management department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and conducting internal audit engagements in accordance with defined audit programs and timelines.
- Assist in planning and conducting internal audit engagements in accordance with audit programs and timelines.
- Perform detailed testing of financial, operational, and compliance processes to identify risks, control weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Document audit findings clearly and concisely, ensuring accuracy and compliance with audit standards.
- Support the preparation of audit reports, including summaries of findings and recommendations for corrective action.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant data and ensure alignment with audit objectives.
- Monitor the implementation of recommendations to verify corrective actions are completed.
- Assist in developing and maintaining audit tools, templates, and procedures.
- Assist in supporting the department's advisory projects and initiatives.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and related documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in regulations, standards, and best practices related to internal audit and risk management.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance, Economics or related fields (2:1 or 7/10 or 3.5/4).
- High School Leaving Certificate (17/20 or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Internal Audit.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous learning.
- Proficiency in audit tools and software is an advantage.

Salary:
€25,000 - 30,000 - depending on experience
