For our client, a leading private firm specializing in custom interior contracts and tailored services, we seek an Accounting Officer.
Responsibilities

Record and process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner

Perform reconciliations of local suppliers’ accounts and resolve discrepancies

Process and monitor material orders placed with local suppliers

Follow up on open and undelivered purchase orders for ongoing projects

Conduct regular stock taking and inventory checks
-
Identify, investigate, and resolve stock differences and inventory discrepancies
-
Maintain accurate inventory records and storeroom documentation
-
Ensure that all waybills and storeroom documents are properly signed, filed, and saved on the company server
-
Save and maintain all supplier invoices on the company server in an organized and accessible manner
-
Organize and create bin locations within the storeroom for efficient material management
-
Support general storeroom and warehouse operations
-
Coordinate with project teams, procurement, and accounting departments to ensure smooth material flow
-
Ensure compliance with company procedures and inventory control standards
Requirements
-
Previous experience in storeroom, warehouse, inventory, or procurement operations
-
Accounting or bookkeeping experience is required

Good knowledge of invoice processing and supplier reconciliations

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and inventory/accounting systems

Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping

Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
Experience in construction, engineering, or technical materials management will be considered an advantage

Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems

Salary:
