For our client, one of the most dynamic groups in the construction sector in Cyprus we are seeking an Accounting Officer. Through the combined activities of the Group’s companies in the sectors of Construction, Land Development, Production of Raw Materials and Energy, the Group has acquired enormous dynamism, while at the same time creating the prospect for the expansion of its operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issues and prepares accounting and financial reports.
- Supports the final audit process.
- Plays a substantial role in the processes related to the management of creditors and debtors.
- Monitors the payment process and records related invoices.
- Strengthens and supports internal control processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tertiary education degree in Accounting or another related field of study and/or other Certificate of approved academic qualification, e.g. LCCI Higher level.
- Professional experience of at least one (1) year in accounting or a combination of academic and practical knowledge.
- Ability to manage numerical data with attention to detail and flexibility in adapting to the use of software systems.
- Developed personal organisation skills and ability to perform work within the required deadlines.
