Accounting Officer - Nicosia

For the largest construction company in Cyprus we are looking for an Accounting Officer to join their growing finance team in Nicosia.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue accounting and financial reports

• Assist in the preparation of management and administrative accounts

• Support the external audit process

• Manage processes related to creditors and debtors

• Monitor payments and accurately record invoices

• Liaise with financial institutions as required

• Contribute to strengthening internal audit procedures and controls

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or a related field, or an equivalent qualification (e.g. LCCI Higher)

• Professional accounting certification will be considered an advantage

• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience, or a combination of academic background and practical exposure

• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and adaptability to accounting systems

• Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

• Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:45 and Friday 08:00 - 15:00 (half-hour flexibility on start and end times)

Salary:

€19,500 – 23,000 - depending on experience
