For a leading Cypriot Audit & Accounting firm, we are looking for a an Acccountant join their Accounting team! As an Accountant, you’ll manage financial records, support bookkeeping, and collaborate with the Accounting Manager. Responsibilities:
- Handle accounting and bookkeeping matters
- Record of accounting transactions
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records
- Prepare VAT returns, payroll reports and liaise with the Social Insurances, Income Tax and VAT department etc.
- Monthly Reconciliations of suppliers, customers, bank statements
- Update financial data, document and file accounting transactions in an organized manner
- Calculate payroll taxes, social insurances, income tax for individuals and corporations
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Ensure all supplier invoices are paid as per the terms and conditions agreed.
- Assist in daily banking requirements.
- Update the daily cash flow
- Communicate indirectly with customers
- Contribute to a strong client relationship through positive interactions with client personnel
- Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience
- Basic Knowledge in VAT regulations, Social Insurance services, and Tax authorities
- Exposure in accounting software (e.g.E-soft, Odoo)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Effective teamwork and independent working capabilities
- Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
- IT literate and adaptable
- High integrity and a positive, can-do attitude.

Salary:
€19,800 – €21,000 - depending on experience
